WE HAVE ALL WE NEED

“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,” 2 Peter 1:3.

If there’s ever a moment in life when we believe we do not have sufficient means to move on, consider this verse. So often, we are looking for answers, or the means, or the capacity to move forward in life and ministry when it becomes difficult. Often, we look inward to try and understand ourselves better. At times, we look to our friends or even a pastor, or we endlessly scroll through YouTube sermons looking for understanding, help, and guidance.

But what Peter says—you must remember! We have everything we need in the knowledge of Christ! It is through the knowledge of Him—not ourselves or anyone else—that we have received, by way of His divine power, all we need to live life.

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Philippians 3:10.

Knowing Christ is not a simple, casual acquaintance—it’s more than that. It’s a deep, thorough understanding and knowledge we begin to grasp as we identify with the suffering and death of Christ in our own lives.

By the grace of God, His divine power has granted us resurrection power in our lives! Therefore, you have everything you need to live a life of godliness, contentment, and satisfaction in Jesus!
